About the position

We are looking for you who want to be the hub for the ongoing technical maintenance at Kvarn, which is part of Skövde Garrison. The position includes leading customer reception as well as front-line maintenance on site.

Then you would fit as the manager of TKM Kvarn under the Technical Department of Skövde Garrison.

About the unit

The Logistics Unit (LogE) is responsible, on behalf of the Garrison Commander, for the warehousing of wartime units in the garrison. The assignment includes, among other things, material fulfillment, mobilization and war-time placement, technical supervision and measures. LogE is responsible, on behalf of the Garrison Commander, for a large part of the licensed activities conducted within the garrison. The Technical Department (TekA) is part of the Logistics Unit, and TKM Kvarn is one of two sections under TekA responsible for local-level material planning for the Swedish Armed Forces and assists our customers with technical support in various forms.

Main tasks

As the manager of the technical customer reception, you have a key role in the operations. You bear the overall responsibility for leading and distributing the daily work.

This includes, among other things:

  • Responsible for coordinating maintenance requests within the garrison.
  • Handling information in the support systems PRIO, Lift, RSF, and MRS.
  • Participate in and lead meetings within the technical service.
  • Lead the personnel within TKM.

Qualifications

  • Approved professional officer education SO7/OF2 with a technical focus.
  • Good skills in expressing yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.
  • Previous experience with the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems LIFT and PRIO (SAP).
  • Driver's license category B.

Merits

  • Previous service as a technical commander at company/squadron/battalion level.
  • Well-versed in the Swedish Armed Forces' material process.
  • Knowledge/experience of MRS.
  • Knowledge/experience of RSF.
  • Military work permit.

As the leader of the team at Technical Customer Reception, the tasks are varied, where flexibility, drive, and forward-thinking are important qualities. You are encouraged to be solution-oriented with a broad technical interest and the ability to work in a service-oriented manner.

We sometimes work under significant time pressure. In the team, we help each other, but you will also drive a lot of independent work. This requires you to be self-starting, take great personal responsibility, and be unpretentious enough to jump in where needed. You have good leadership qualities with strong communication skills and high social competence.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment level: Full time. Working hours are normally 07:00 - 16:00, but inconvenient working hours occur.

Work location: Kvarn Garrison. Travel for work and personal training occurs.

Skaraborg Regiment, P 4, has operations from Älvdalen in the north to Remmene in the south. The command is located in Skövde where the main part of the conscript training takes place. The regiment's task is to recruit and train conscripts and personnel for two armored battalions, a heavy transport company, and a brigade reconnaissance company. P 4 is also responsible for a brigade staff that, in times of crisis and war, should lead large parts of the army's units.
